Chiropractic Education

Chiropractors are doctors and must undergo rigorous training. Chiropractors must complete a minimum three years of study at university before they are eligible for chiropractic college. While at chiropractic college students must complete four years of classroom and clinical instruction. Education is concentrated in three areas:  biological and health sciences, specialized training chiropractic and radiology, and extensive clinical training. Following graduation all chiropractors must pass national and provincial licensing examinations. This demanding education ensures that your chiropractor is able to fully understand all your help needs and is able to provide a high standard of care.
